But the color is not the only thing that makes this flower to be so interesting. Her leaves are rebirth from another big leaf which can serve also as a tulip. By its simple name and by its aspect, this flower resemblance a lot with a bird from the sky, so in two words, with the Bird of Heaven.

A Ladybird on a Gerbera. Together, the both of them make the perfect “couple”: the ladybird takes care of the flower, and the flower in meantime is boasting about this amazing bug. Being very rich in colors, this beautiful pink gerbera is the beauty of the nature when spring time is coming. Whether she is pink, yellow, white, red or orange, the gerbera will always carry the name of a great german naturalist: Traugott Gerber. Besides that, the gerbera is also named as Barberton Daisy and apparently its capitulum has the appearance of a single flower, but actually is composed of hundreds of individual flowers.
