The Bedroom
A very common Victorian style for bedrooms is to combine white color with floral prints and wooden furniture. White color can make any room more lighted and more cool, especially when there is a big bed. Victorian Style is characterized by those huge beds but nowadays almost every young couple prefer the sofas or those couches which are very easy to put up.

In my latest visits all around the world, I’ve seen a such bedroom, even I’ve though I will never be able to see. It is a one in a million chance. But let’s continue the story with the helpful tips about how you can decorate or redecorate the bedroom of your apartment or your house.

You could put on the walls a floral or with geometrical figures tapestry. It is very easy to apply and not so expansive as a new whitewashing. And of course, you can put on your walls paintings, a lot of them, especially above your bed.

It you choose to go with the floral prints tapestry, then do not neglect the curtains. They will have to be with floral prints, also.

The chandelier must be very loaded with different models of illuminating. If you choose the wood made bed, then all the furniture must be made from wood, including the wardrobe, the armoire or the bedroom table commode.

Choose one or two printed fabrics that complement your whites and use them in at least 3 major places. In this room, the floral print fabric has been used for the cushions on the bed, cushions on the sofa and in the curtains. The other printed fabric is used for the couch, the foot table and the curtains. A light green wallpaper coordinates with the floral prints and adds a fresh color to the room without taking away the purity of the whites.

Rich and luxurious textures in white along with old fashion floral prints will give your bedroom this Victorian look. Choose heavier fabrics for furnishings and bedcovers. An elegant white rug carries forward the white color scheme. For curtains, use layers of sheer lace, light stripes and floral prints. Use cushions that have a frill around them for a romantic Victorian feel. White porcelain vases and lamps add to the beauty of the room.
